Middletown’s public safety users completed their transition to BRICS on Monday. West Chester’s public safety and public works users began using the system yesterday.
The West Chester 800MHz system was taken offline yesterday afternoon and the four West Chester channels were brought over to BRICS.
The remaining user group is Trenton and their public safety users are tentatively scheduled to make the switch this Friday. Once Trenton is complete, all Butler County law enforcement, fire and EMS users will be using the BRICS 800MHz voice system.
