A BRICS agency recently brought to our attention a problem with the G4. The battery melted within the case while the unit was on the USB charging cable.
BRICS sent the device to Unication and the preliminary investigations shows a battery issue.
Unication is working with BRICS on a resolution to the issue.
In the interim, it is important to pay attention to your device as it charges. If it is HOT, remove it from service until the unit can be inspected by BRICS.
