This is a follow up to the Technical Bulletin issued on 9/23/2019.
Unication has determined the Li-Polymer battery is the cause of the failure.
Unication has supplied BRICS with Li-Ion batteries to replace defective batteries.
Effective immediately, BRICS staff need to look at all pagers.
BRICS Staff will verify if the unit has a defective battery and replace it with a Li-Ion battery at no cost to the agency.
BRICS will send the defective batteries to Unication with documentation of which serial number it was assigned.
This work can be completed weekdays from 0700 to 1630 hrs.
