Montgomery County talkgroups have been provided in Zone K (in all law enforcement, fire and EMS templates). They may only be used in an emergency or as directed by a dispatcher.
Currently (as of May 2015), Montgomery County has a countywide radio system that is not interconnected with MARCSIP/BRICS. Montgomery County plans to join the statewide system of systems in 2016 when they transition to P25.

57 FIRE (Zone K – 1)
Any emergency button activation on a Montgomery County talkgroup will revert to 57 FIRE and alarm in their communications center. If you press it in error, advise Montgomery.
Law Enforcement Radios
You have been provided the county sheriff dispatch talkgroups (57SO NORTH and 57SO SOUTH) and various operational talkgroups.
