Important Considerations for all Departments
- All VHF paging and station alerting will work during the entire maintenance procedure
- Paging tones on your main dispatch talkgroup will not work for all agencies except 9COM
- BRICS personnel will automatically respond to any reports of a structure fire in Butler County to assist with on-scene communications
Changes to the Plan Since the June 25th Informational Meeting
- All 9COM fire departments will utilize 09 MA 10 during the two-minute system outage except the following agencies which will be assigned to 8 TAC 94:
- College Corner Fire Department
- Milford Township Fire Department
- Oxford Fire Department
- Reily Township Fire Department
- 7 TAC firegrounds will only be used if absolutely necessary if the total system outage extends beyond the anticipated two minute time period
- 09 FIRE 12-16 will be restricted to the Butler County simulcast and used for fireground operations during site trunking. All other talkgroups usually used for firegrounds will be restricted.
